Krishan: Aaj shaam ke reports nahi aa paayi mere paas. Aapne dekha Pawan
Pawan (younger bro) I missed it too bhayya, when are we implementing the new manufacturing ERP software platform?
Krishan: Global Shop Solutions is supposed to be phased out first in Maharashtra,  Batchmaster is Hyderabad based they have deployed over 38 of their IT guys all over our sites, design dry run sab kuch ho gaya, you were not in our last project meeting, tum Spore mein the na last week.
Pawan: Anuttam lead the steering committee us se report maanga?
Krishan: Anu, se kuch maangne ki zaroorat nahi hai, he sends it to my in-box and a hard copy to my back seat of the car! (grins)
Pawan: Aap uski tareef zyaada kar rahe hai Bhayya
Krishan: Not really.... (smiles)
Anvita Pawan's daughter enters the lounge/ sun room at the side of the house, she is 17 very shy and poised, she is dusky and a lil plump like her Mom Padmini. She happens to be Krishan's fave, she curls up by him on the white rattan couch with white cushions..... the glass topped table has a bottle of Vodka and some snacks in a silver partitioned plate...........
She chomps on snacks
Krishan: When did you get home love?"
Anvita:At 7 TJ! (for Tayaji)
Krishan: Is Raghav home?
Anvi: He is...... (hugs her TJ)
They both chat softly, he picks a plump truffle from the tray and hands it to her, she smells it, he grins amused.... and watches her eat, as her strokes her head.
Pawan: I am impressed with out new VP Ops Bhayya
Krishan who is hard to please just smiles "Already? In a week?"
Pawan: True! I can sense it...
Krishan: He is very bright, and not very old either
Pawan: We grabbed a bite together at the cafeteria at lunch and he mentioned his family owned some manufacturing too
Krishan is curious "Oh really?"
Pawan: Jee

Pawan is on the phone, both men are dressed in expensive casuals, piped music flows through the ceiling speakers, its a sitar recital. Pandit R Shankar is a regular at this house.
Dr Padmini is on her late nite shift, so Mridula is in charge of dinner, Mediterranean tonite........ Dadaji's fave.
Pawan hangs up the call "It was my assistant, he forgot to mention  Rahejas had called Woh Aurangazeb Rd waala property shaayad final ho jaaye"
The brothers smile
Anvita: I dont want to share the room with Ruchira, she annoys me!
Krishan laughs, I will give you your own "wing" beta! Its a 23450 sq ft house, you can have an entire floor if you like
Pawan: Nahi, she will share!
Avi: DAD!!
Pawan: should we tell Dad?
Krishan: He is still hung up on that corner house in Jor Bagh
Pawan: Usko bhi bid kariye aap
Krishan shakes his head..... "We dont want the IT after us". This one is costing us, how many?
Just as Pawan checks his phone, Anvita sends a glass to the rug... it rolls...

Pawan smiles "True" "Mujhe lagta hai all said and done it should be at 179 crores"
Krishan: Hope he will accept at 162, we will save some (keen business sense)
Pawan shakes his head

Mridula darts her head in  "Dinner at 9:30?"
Krishan smiles at her. She winks back
Pawan: You two ought be the most romantic couple of this century
Mridula: ONLY this?
Krishan, stands up walks over to her, and wraps his arm around her waist "For ever and ever!"
Pawan: Someone's happy!
Mridula: I can see that....
Krishan: I will make you move soon, you and Padmini...
Mridula: Dont tell me! (smiles)
Krishan: I just did

They hug.......
Pawan: Raghav kis shaadi is ghar mein ya waha?
Sees the lanky bespectacled guy walk in, he is wearing tan trousers and a blue and white stripe cotton shirt, significantly crushed, sleeves rolled....
Raghav smiles but doesnt say anything........., he puts his feet up on the glass topped table and sends a bowl of cashews to the floor, but picks up meticulously
And puts his feet up again.
Pawan: You can take your pick beta!
Anvita: Shaadi in the new house!
Mridula, making another drink for her husband
Mridula: Aur ladki kaun?
Krishan: Hope its a girl!
Anvita: Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! (makes a face)
Raghav on the other hand is unperturbed.... he pours himself a drink, his Mom waves to the help asking for more ice
Pawan:Mere Raghav ke liye there will be a whole zip code of girls
He chews on a peanut brittle and grins, he has a stubble, a very dark one, as if he hadnt shaved in two days
Krishan: Are you planning to cover the soul patch? (happy)
Raghav shakes his head, still partially smiling

His Mom sits by him and just holds his hand...
Pawan: Iske jitni tall ladki milni mushkil hai (serious)
Krishan: Are we actually ARRANGING a Kapoor's marriage?
Pawan and Mridula laugh out loud....
Pawan: lagta to kuch aisa hai
The guy in question has no opinion, he watches the back and forth, his grandparents make their way out as well....
Dadi: KITNE saalon baad ghar mein shaadi aur woh bhi hamari pasand ki ladki
Krishan: I was chatting with Dheeraj Oswal last week, his niece is returning from Oxford later this month
Dadaji: Rajasthani? (shocked)
Pawan: Jee Dad!
Dadaji: I put my foot down and insist on a thorough bred Punjabi
Mridula smiles
Dadi smiles too, meaningfully
Many other big name industrilaists are tossed in and out and tossed back in, the guy watches the 72 inch TV, he switches between a 70s Bollywood flick, a cricket match and 30 Rock.
Dadi: Band karo beta, shaadi tumhaari hai, (charged up)
He lounges further and increases the volume one point
Anvita is listening to music
The adults are going beserk
Dadaji: Kudi Punjabi honi chaidi
Pawan and Krishan argue playfully
Krishan looks at Mridula "What do you think?"
Mridula: Some one close to as tall as he is, but she has to be fiesty, chatty, lively and spunky, his complete opposite!!!"
