The male help shakes his head rolls his eyes, "Bhayya aap kyon has rahe ho"
Prakash: Jee nahi Didi...

Mridula: Thats enough Rohini, has  Anvita called yet?
Ruchira: Mom, she doesnt want to wear that gorgeous dupatta that goes with it!! (shocked)
Rohini: I LOVE the blouse Mom!
Mridula: Its an ENGAGEMENT, Rohi... its not one of our parties... they are from UP, and a lil conservative...
Rohini pulls a face, stares at the mirror...
Rohini: I wanted to show off my belly tattoo, (winking)
Mridula: Koi zaroorat nahi (says something incoherent in Marathi)
Rohini: Nakko! Aayi...
Krishan walks in just as Ruchira squeals "Babaaaaaaaaa"
Krishan laughs "Aaj kya ho gaya?"
Mridula is shy " I scolded her in Marathi"
Krishan gives his wife a hug... "How is the book release coming" pulls at his tie...

Dadi walks in " Krish did you see the yellow flowers lining the drive way?"
Krishan lets go of his wife "Ya Mom"
Dadi: you can hug her in front of me you know!"
Mridula walks away as her hubby follows her for a hug...

Ruchira: Mom & Dad are the cutest and the the most lovey dovey Dadi..
Dadi: I know! But they have competition now...

Someone plays soft shehnai through the sound system... there are people everywhere... friends, associates, close relatives... the house smells like jasmines and roses...

Krishan: WHERE is he?
Mridula: He went golfing... not sure if he returned...
Dadi: He did and then went off to play tennis with a friend...
Krishan: Kisi ne us se kaam par jaane ki baat ki?
Mridula is uncomfortable.... it hurts her that her son is not aggressive and focussed and ambitious like her hubby, she wonders if Padmini and pawan may be comparing Ateendra and Anuttam to him and feeling proud....

She knows her son is exceptionally smart, wonders why he lacks the drive....

Krishan: Will he be here for the engagement (chuckles)
Dadi: Hes probably with her right now....
Mridula: Hope not... they are conservative.... Raghav bahut careless hai
Krishan: Bus shaadi ko lekar serious ho! (succinct, firm)
