She stood in the balcony…
“Why did you go to the pub with him?” he asked directly as
ever…
She didn’t turn around…
“Khanak” he asked firmly
“I” she began…
He waited…
She turned around… “He is”
He looked furious “HE HAS NO IDEA ABOUT MUMBAI” she barked…
“I do”
Really?” her husband mocked, smiling, hands in his pocket,
forming fists…
“Main yaha..”
“USKE saath kyon gayi?”
At the Hindi, she looked up at his face startled…
“It was OK if I went with…”
“Niiice” he cut her off mid sentence…
They stared at each other interminably…
“Was it like not finding an empty couch in a room with 6
sets of couches last nite, during poker?” he asked…
She flinched….
“You”
“Hate him…. I do” he cut her off again…
She squirmed…
“I ha(te Mahi too).. She began, only to be interrupted by
his phone… He answered but placed an arm across the doorway signaling he wasn’t
doen yet…
She took a step back….
“I will have to call you back, I am in the middle of
something Nachiket”
He listened, laughed derisively…
“NO I am not having sex” he bit out… “Nor making out”…
Khanak turned away… as both statements somehow made her feel
like an accused…
“Fine” he said
Paused and listened…
“Mujhe chalna chahiye” his wife muttered…
“Boss, I cant talk right now” he quickly hung up…
“I” she began…
“why a PUB IN SOME GOD FORSAKEN PLACE Khanak?”
“Coz not all of us can live in Malabar Hill or Pali Hill”
she retorted, hugely offended
“Whhat?”he was incredulous…
“Some of us happen to be”she paused…
“Do you own that fricking pub now?”
“YOU belong to Malabar Hill now as well, in case you were
having amnesia” he waved his arms around, capturing the sea view
“I was bored… he is leaving, so” she said in frustration…
“You have a husband to rid you of boredom my sweet” he
whispered, nailing her to railing…
“Surely not when he is giving his ex a ride at 4 AM my sweet”
she whispered, not the one to give up…
He sucked his breath in at that endearment….
“I gave her a ride, I was not (riding her)” he responded
furious…
“You are sick”
“We make a team” don’t you think” he asked, bending down…
“No! There is no team…” she pushed his seeking face….
“We are married, but apparently have the hots for other
people”
“HOW DARE YOU?” she asked totally hurt, trembling….
“He held both her wrists on the rail….
“Very easily Mrs Gujral” he bit her lobe… if he intended to
hurt he didn’t show it..
Wooooo.... Face to face talk !!! Loved it....

Wow!!! Loved it..♥ ♥ ♥ ShaNaklicious update..♥ Shaan is always straight to the point..He cut Khanak's word throughout..Khanak has all idea about Mumbai whereas Pradyun not..She has a point..;)

Gosh..How openly he talks with Nachiket..So she used to visit that pub with Ritu..
She was bored and he immediately changed his direction of talk..;) His statement must definitely hurt her..Will she retort back equally making him more furious?
