Her phone rings endlessly, she is staring at her laptop
screen and taking notes and looking for some matching data in reams of files
stacked by her.
Poonam: Radhu tera phone baj raha hai yaar
Radhika: Hmm
Umesh: Text nahi hai na, so she knows
Radhika looks up at Umesh and shakes her head derisively
Poonam:Shaadi kiski hai bata, 4 din mein
Radhika bites her lower lip trying to stop her smile.
Poonam continues, “Kal sangeet, parson mehandi aur uske baad
shaadi?”
Radhu(preoccupied) kuch aisa hi
She hurriedly flips through some notes
Radhika: Most recent water toxicity reports kahan hai?
Umesh is winding up for the day
Radhika:Poonam?
Poonam: Kaunse water source ka
Radhika (irritable): All of them yaar
Poonam looks in a tall steel shelf…. Its messy, there is too
much paper of very sort…
Poonam: Kal DM ne tujhe kya kaha
Radhu:Water reports yaar
Poonam brings a huge stack of files and sits by Radhika on
the floor. It’s the friend’s house, they’ve ben staying her every time they
visit.
Radhika looks frustrated and tired…. She sifts through the
mountain of papers lying by her
Poonam: It cant happen overnite yaar
Radhika is going through the water toxicity reports
Radhika:It has never happened before… we are able to usualy
tie the factory to the ownership in weeks or in a couple of months. Yahan 6
mahiney ho gaye, Durga Holdings?
Radhika repeats “DURGA HOLDINGS?”
She continues “Filipino banda hai of Indian origin, usko
Dehat Kanpur ke sick leathr factories mein kya shauk?”
Poonam and Umesh converge as Radhika tries to tear her hair…
“Hamara banda jo UP Industries ministry mein hai usko kitne
baar bribe kar chuke hain, WE ARE JUST NOT SEEING IT”
Poonam:Aurin ko bulayen?
Radhika is not happy “Nahi!” “I am just puzzled and
discouraged at this point. I am not giving up”
Umesh:The holding company or who ever jo bhi hai, they have
to invest some serious shit into this in order to make them operational.
Radhika: Filipino company hai, who knows kahan se aata hai
unka paisa
Radhika: We seriously need a detective type person on the
team permanently
Poonam: Hai na, who company!
Radhika: But everything stops at Durga Holdings. Aisa kaise?
Her phone beeps signaling a text, she is unable to hide the
heat on her face
Umesh grins “Abhi text dekh lo”
They both leave cracking inappropriate jokes about her
Radhika looks at it quickly “Missing you” it says
She responds with “96 hours?”
“That’s too much” he responds
“Call karoon?”
There is no response for a minute…
She stares at the screen and then at her iMac screen
“Radhika…”
She looks at how its written….
“I wish you were here” he wrote
She dials his number, he doesn’t pick up
She goes back to text “On a call”
Raghav (on the phone): “Mr Miguel, Dad would know about all
that”
Miguel Torres: I plan to fly into Mumbai on May 4th.
Raghav:I wont be in town then… on my honeymoon…
Miguel (in a thick Filipino accent): Good news Mr Kapoor!
Raghav smiles quietly
Miguel: We can meet when you return.
Raghav:Sure!
The phone pings as he disconnects the call to go back to his texting...
she is so obsessed with Durga Holdings.. so the suspense is going to be out only after the marriage i guess.. Raghav is not at all worried about this.. hmm..

Excellent!!! sometimes the person you are looking for is right behind/besides you and you fail to notice..that's happening with Radhika..Even if she shouts at Raghav after knowing everything he will be unfazed..that is his nature..but hope Radhika break that notion!!!
