Ritwik sat there staring at the squiggly design on her hand…
Gently flicked her cone with middle finger and thumb, it squirted all over
Radhika’s forearm. The girl applying it on her left hand yelled at him in
exasperation “Aap ne ek aur baar mujhe tang kiya to main Didi ka haath aisa
chhodkar nikal jaaoongi”
Radhika was on the phone…. Jabbering, laughing and squealing
“Uske mooh par lagao thoda, tabhi chup hoyegi who” Ritwik
suggested
The two girls working on her ignored the suggestion, Radhika
kicked him on his shin.
There was chaos all over…. Relatives, friends, her Mom’s
faculty…
They were all there!
The neighbor’s across the hallway had also offered their
apartment and there were two empty ones in the complex that were also “taken”
Her Dad was on his PC, “working” he assured, but Sudha knew
he was doing the finances
“You actually agreed?”
“Nahi!” she said covering the mouthpiece of her blue tooth
surreptiously with a mehandied hand… Ritwik reached and disconnected the call
Radhika screamed… Ananya stumbled in from the tiny kitchen…
Sudha smacked her soundly on her shoulder
Ritwik: WHY are you marrying him?
Radhika: For the sex!
Sudha: Aur zor se beta!
Radhika: FOR THE S
Sudha gave her a menacing look, …………that did it… for now.
Ananya and Sudha got pulled away by a relative.
Ritwik: You don’t even know what its like!
Radhu:I do too!
Ritwik: To phir…
The mehandi girl looked up at Radhika “Aapka BHAI hai?”
Radhu:Haan!
Radhika signaled him to stop
Ritwik: You can tell me you know… was this his plan?
(serious, soft)
Radhika:KYA?
Ritwik: Mujhe bata to!
Radhika: Arey tu to senti ho gaya! I REALLY LIKE THE GUY! He
is IT!”
Ritwik: I worry for you.. idiot!
Radhika: Kabse? (winking)
Ritwik:From the day you decided to marry a rich unemployed
aashiq
Radhika looks hurt
“He is not unemployed”
“Writing apps is”
“Its hurtful Ritu”
“Hope he wont..” saying so Ritwik gets up and walks away, as
Radhika stares at her mehandi first and then at her departing sibling
Loved it!!! All are concerned for Radhika and very sure that Raghav is gonna hurt her..what's going on in Raghav's side???
