First Day of 2012
She was leaning on his arm/shoulder, he flipped through
pages/screen on his ipad
She stopped him from scrolling…
She pointed to something on screen, he explained patiently,
gesticulating in a masculine way… she smiled as she listened… he tucked a lock
of hair behind her ear…he had recently strapped her brace back on her wrist, it
was throbbing now…
She nursed it periodically…
“Looks like you are fishing for sympathy”
“The Velcro gets caught in everything” she complained
“Get a new brace then” annoyed…
“Hmm”
“Ofcourse”
His ipad pinged…
He checked his facebook page, where they were on… a friend
had hit “Like” on a picture, he went to it.
It was a picture posted by Nachiket yesterday…
“Gujral then… Gujral NOW” it said as a caption
It was a split image, on the left Shaan stood between a bevy
of beauties or so it seemed like to her, in skimpy beach wear,a beach
volleyball net swayed in the wind in the background… there were 3 guys and 6
girls… Shaan’s arm was wrapped around a tall blonde’s waist…She immediately
stiffened and loosened his hold around hers… now…
On the right was Shaan at the Ulwe site, trying to pull a
backhoe out of two feet of slush, his workman’s boots, his hard hat, his rain
gear were all splattered with construction dirt………….
She turned away, pretending to be sleepy…
“Brandon” was the most recent commenter on the picture.. “Sorry
man!” he had said…
“Khanak” ventured Shaan
“Umm” she answered unenthusiastically
He placed the ipad on the bedside table and slowly pushed
her down…….
“No don’t tell me” she said
“I wasn’t planning to, I just wanted to see your jealous
face” he declared chuckling, as he stared down…she wore his white shirt now…
the buttons were done incorrectly…..
“Khanak” he repeated……
“Was she your girlfriend?” she asked unable to stop herself
from asking that
Shaan’s face was expressionless………
“Iam tired” she said as he nuzzled her neck……….
She let him fool around…… for a while………”Begin the new year
fightin?” he asked…
“We ended the last one that way” she supplied…
“Touche!” he said…
Her breathing steadied just as his did moments later… he
slept in her arms………..her heel resting on his leg……

Mangal Kunj
Her phone had vibrated a dozen times, Bai, Kaka, Sonali,
Mehul had all called to wish… Bai and Kaka had later called her husband…
He had woken her at 5 again…”There is a Greek proverb” he
had begun… opening his mouth on her waist area……….. “There is none! I made that
one up” she purred irritated….. shielding her body from his onslaught.
“I know!” he told her as.her protests fell on deaf ears..
Followed by a quick nap he had been up at 8:30..
She had held his face in her hands afterwards at around 6,
as he looked down at her “Will you change your mind this year?” she asked
innocently…
“I still want to be married to you” he told her deliberately
acting dense…
She had let go stretching her arms sideways…………he had
stretched his arms, on hers, linking fingers at the end……….. drawing her on top
of him……..
“You love Amogh” she argued not willing to give up…
“I love “this” more” he gently lifted his hips… as he caressed
her back……….
“Aap mujhe bata chuke hain… kayi baar” she murmured
despondent in his ear……
“This………. This is ecstasy Khanak” he whispered huskily on
her shoulder…..
She didn’t agree.. she stiffened, blushing………
“We haven’t had enough of this” he chuckled…
“I have” she whined……..
He rolled her over, climbing yet again……
“I am excited about Ulwe, I don’t think there is any housing
project quite like it”
He sounded impatient, eager and thrilled………..
His eyes sparkled, though his hands travelled……..
“Aapne Casa di Sogni ke liye bhi wohi kaha” defeated
He stared… “ It’s a high” “I will admit”
She appeared defeated…… “We separated……”
“I chased you down” he said victoriously
“After Ulwe?Shantanu?” she asked persistent
He kissed her, not answering………..
“I’ll think about it if” he said the rest in her ear………
Her face turned crimson…….. “ Nahi” she said……
He offered another choice in her ear, she laughed at first
pushing him away… the flirting continued………..
He shaved under his chin…….. rinsed himself off, splattering
water all over her things………….. picked up a pair of silver and pearl earrings
from a glass bowl… looked at it for a moment……….before setting it back.
Rahat was planning a ceremonial site visit today, at 11, he
hoped to be at the site by 10………………

awww!! she's very much eager to have a baby..
but i guess you were right, they can still wait for baby, as you had mentioned once that they won't trust each other, still..

Him tucking her hair, some simple old gestures still leave the mark.
The jealous Khanak somethings finally coming to the fore. She’s come a long way, once was a time when she would bristle and burn.
His intensity for her and HER only...it always enkindles something inside me leaves a trancelike state!
Her hindi pure adoration, she speaks so fluidly and only speaks when she wants to convey a important point.
Them finally roundabout way of talking about the baby...kuch cheezein will take its own time and flow. I guess she’s eager and he is still in his ‘honeymoon’ phase regardless of the fact he will be over it :P
I didn’t know where to start off from, your updates are always surprising and there is a tinge for more. Ek baat separation se yaad aya bring some angst to their story...sucker for the yearning and pining stuff, don’t expect a separation again that be too repetitive and am sure even before the point comes both will lock one another :P

Awww!!! Khanak finally talked to him about baby..He asked for more time as usual as he is busy in Casa besides other things!!!
