Mangal Kunj
He is still asleep, she gets out of the shower, her face
appears like she she has cried…. Her eyes are puffy and red… she wears some
moisturizer and pats her face with a towel… and stays in hiding for a moment…. Or
two…., wears her clothing… a orange Kurti….. ties her hair in tight braid…..
ditches jewelry…
The door opens… with a signature “Hey”
She just hangs the towel, on the side rack… ignoring him…
“HOW long was ur shower?” he complains… wiping off the mist
on the mirror
She doesn’t respond….
Her jeans is in her closet/changing room… picks up her
earrings from two days ago… and turns around…
S:Khanak? (brushing)
K:Hmmm
S: OK whats bothering you?
K:Kuch bhi nahi (fighting tears)
S rinses his mouth and face, grabs her cold damp towel… and
wipes off his face…
S:Hang on…
K:Nahi… I have a 8 O Clock…
She turns around to open the door…
He follows her
S:Are you sulking for a reason
K:No, just for lack of better things to do…
He is mad now…
S: Looks like it…
K walks to her closet, sifts through the dozen pairs of
jeans…. Picks a coffee colored one… hangs it back…he bends down and scrapes his
jaw on her neck….
K:I am not in the mood…
S:I can see that…
K picks a blue one…
Turns around “Do you mind?” (Please leave, I want to wear my
jeans!” look)
A muscle clenches in S’s jaw… he folds his arms across his
chest and leans… “There!” look on his face
She tries to walk out of the changing room
S: I thought we settled our argument… did we not?
“WOMEN” he sighs loudly…
She looks at him really hurt…
S:If you wont TELL me Khanak!
He wondered HOW she expected him to know
K: Kritik knows why Ritu is upset always
S:Oh really? Must be a neuro biologist! (sarcastic)
K:You are mean… and cruel… and
S: Here we go again (angry)
K:Ritu hamesha
S: OK if Kritik offers weekend lessons I will sign up
K: Phir bhi aapko…
S:WHAT is wrong Khanak?
K:I am NOT pregnant! (hurt, accusing)
It takes him a few seconds… ok well… more than a few…
S:Were you supposed to be? (startled)
She wears her jeans furiously… turns around, picks up
another purse… a Gucci… and walks out in a huff
She transfers all her things from her existing one…. Stares at
the mirror behind the huge chest of drawers… dabs her eyes with tissue…
K: BTW mujhe red bilkul pasand nahi hai.. (declares)
He leans on the changing rom door way and almost chuckles
but hides his amusement with great difficulty and nods
K: Mere liye aap aage se koi scarf nahi laayen (orders
huskily)
S: Aur kuch? (in Hindi)
K:Mujhe aapse kuch nahi chahiye…
S:Good to know…
K looks at him hurt…
K:I thought I was…
S:Why? (incredulous)
He gave her a “I have been taking care of “it” haven’t I?”
look
K:I…
S steps forward…
K: Go away!
S: Khanak…
K:I…
Turns around … walks back into his changing room… and sifts
through the chest of drawer… to find the box of pain killers and pops out out
of the foil
S:Have you eaten anything
K:Nahii…
S: You should eat first if you have cramps…
K:You are not a biology teacher… not a Doctor
He nods amused “I agree”
S:Khanak
K:Aap mera naam lena band karen (softly)
S:Agreed!
He walks up and gently takes the foil of meds away…
S:Khanak… how many days did you miss?
K: Kyon?
S shrugs… holds her face.. as tears roll
K:I am not crying for you…
S:Jee! (soft)
Wipes it off with his thumb…
She tries to yank his out of his grip… the pill falls out of
her hand…
He hugs her
S:Did you test?
K:Umm… aaj
S: Take a couple days off… lets go to Goa
K:Not with you! (sulking)
He laughs heartily
She stays in his hug……..
He begins to carress her back gently…. Under her kurti
K:I don’t want you.. anywhere near me the next 5 days…
S continues to flirt
K: Shantanu…
S: Khanak…
K: I am sad… (tearful) and its your fault…
S:You shouldn’t be… and it cant be anyone else (arrogance
mixed with possessiveness)
K:Aap kabhi nahi maangenge!
S:We talked about whats going on at work…
K: You didn’t even text me back for an hour…
S:I was trying to get the attorney Mr Saraf to come in ASAP…
K:I…
S: We both are busy with our careers…
She gently extricatres herself from his embrace…
K:I was hopeful…
He looks on…. Unsmiling…
So Khanak is not pregnant..:( She expected it and it didn't turn that way..She is very disappointed and sad..She cried too..:'(

Awww!!! Shaan couldn't understand it but later did..She accused him..lol..:D And asked him to stay away from him but he'll flirt with her as usual just like now..:D She took test..hmmm..What if she is carrying!!! Cofusing..
The pregnancy issue is very complicated between them..Both are correct in their pov..hmmm..

If Ritu gets pregnant, then im sure Khanak will be very much happy, at the same time would increase her tantrums towards Shaan :P More so a reason to pitch a fight :P

I knew She would not be! I wonder how long! Well, this is a very crucial point in both their careers, so if not now, I hope he starts to think about it soon! :)
They dont agree on much! Infact, not anything! They fight all the time and challenge each other everyday. But despite all their differences, its amazing to see how crazy they are about each other! Sigh!
I love it how he hugs her each time, when she's emotionally low! It shows a sense of protection, possessiveness! :)) They're pure bliss Aditee! And I can never get enough of them! <3

Her not being pregnant is getting to her painfully...she so wants this and with the reaction at the end I don’t see he’ll agree soon at all. Hopefully someday she’ll get HER way of convincing him BUT you have to applaud him for always getting the last word :P
The MOST adorable thing about their arguments is the HINDI, There is something just really charming about the way they switch back and forth, you have your own niche for them :D I just love how she sulks literally like a child and then is back to her accusations.
Such a classic way of comparing husband! I have seen my moms do the similar ‘her husband is blah blah’!
BUT the best about this guy is that he lets her be, no matter how much possessive or protective he is he gives her own freedom.

so she is not pregnant and sad about that but i dont want them to be parents so soon shan should tell her clearly about future plans ofcourse he wants a baby but not so soon and khanak is impateint uuff kya karu mainin dono ka maybe they should go to goa yes :)
