Part 142


“Who is she?” Khanak asked…
“Tara” she is NEWLY single, as you can see from her antics… some art dealer person” Nachiket answered casually…
Khanak tried not look at the iPad again, amidst Ujju’s incessant nudging…
“were you out of town?” Rishi Batra asked…
Uju’s jaw dropped..
“Hmmm” said Khanak…
“YOU KNOW HIM?” Ujju asked…
“Nope, hes a stranger, just happened to crash, you dope” Khanak whispered…
“HES A HOTTIE Bhabheeee” Ujju squealed, inaudibly
“Khanak, paneer aur dal hai beta will it work?” Dadi asked, caringly
“Jee Dadi. You shouldn’t worry” Khanak responded
“I SHOULD, and I will, Sunil tujhe pooch raha tha?” Dadi told her
“Kyon?” Khanak was nervous…
“ Toone uski koi baat nahi maani hogi aur kya?” Dadi laughed
“Dad is unreasonable” Khanak responded, guiltily
“All the men in this family are unreasonable, except Akshay”
Khanak and Shaan’s eyes met across the room “She is talking about you” Khanak’s eyes informed…
“I know and I agree with her” he told her….
Chachi: Kitni elegant hai aapki poti bahu, Mom…
Dadi:Elegant, quiet, reserved, but  ziddi
K:We are talking about the men, Dadi, not me
D:Men and ONE WOMAN!
Madhavi: Did you take care of everything?
K:Jee, Mom…
Chachi:Atleast she remembered YOU, mujhe to Aunty bana diya
Dadi laughed…
Khanak squirmed…
Chachi:Shaan ko kya bulaya?
Khanak looked at her husband, “Kuch nahi” she responded softly…

    Khanak can't stop feeling jealousy! Both are so alike!!

    At least they are talking through eyes!!! When will they talk to each other???
