She drank her lemonade as if she was parched, flipping the glass, it splashed on her neck and drained down…

Khanak giggled and hugged him… running way to Dadi’s bathroom

She rinsed herself, and her shirt almost giving herself a bath, took her tee off and waved it over Dadi’s pedestal fan… wore it back when she heard footsteps…

Then a click… he leaned on the door……arms across his chest…….

He didn’t smile, neither did she…

His phone was on his ear…

She looked uncaring the soaked tee outlining her insides….

She approached the locked door fearlessly as he approached her…

She slithered by him, as he snuck an arm out and grabbed her, slamming her against the wall… shoving his phone into his pocket, imprisoning her hands behind her back…

“I will SCREAM” she hissed

“I want to hear it” he responded eagerly…

She struggled as he smothered her… sucking off the taste of strawberry lemonade from her neck and collar bone……

Spreading the scent of mutton biryani and SOR… all over her skin…

“Stop it!” she fumed…

“Make me” “You are supposed to be smar-TER and stro-NGER” he laughed mockingly”

“Well …. Atleast according to your Nike”

She squirmed as her skinny tee was rolled like a rope on her wet body, and anchored under her armpits…

“Shantanu” she begged

“Plead,” he muttered as his lips roved over two scraps of gauzy pink triangles…

She strained under his weight… trying to deflect his face….

“We are in the middle of dinner”

And I am in the middle of dessert” he declared… mercilessly….continuing his onslaught with his teeth and tongue…..

Stormy eyes met defiant ones… “Not smarter or stronger Mrs Gujral?” he asked derisively……….

She brought her knee up in rage……. He let go of one of his hands from her back… and caught it just in time…….. used it later to caress her waist… her belly and her waist… fingering the knot on her salwar’s drawstring….

He kissed her fully…… as he undid the hook with the flick of thumb and index finger............. like he had practice......... umm... which he did..........a. million times over.....

Pulled her tee FURIOUSLY… ran to Dadi’s walk in closet and sifted… and sifted…… sifted… found an orange pashmina scarf/shawl… wrapped it securely…

“Extremely hot, completely screwed up” her own words rang in her mind at 3 decibels…….

Her heart hammering against her chest, her ears ringing….she looked at her reflection in the mirror… her  lips as swollen as her…. Umm…. Other…..

“Shit” she cursed aloud……the bindi intact but her teeka all gone……
