March 9th
Friday
She pulled the bags out of the car in frustration… “Main laata hoon aap chhod do” Pradip offered…
Startled at her own public display of annoyance… she quickly composed herself… and shook her head smiling… “Oh! Nahi… Main” she stopped.. She had gone to see Vaishali Aunty’s baby… and then gone off to the tailor… picked up 4 suits, spent more than necessary time on picking out dupattas and matching kinaris… bought fashion earrings, ate paani poori all by herself… and Vithal Uncle dropped her at the station in his scooty…
He gave her a bag of mithai and namkeen his Mom had made for Holi… Khanak loved Marathi food…
There were 5 bags in all…. It was past 9… she had to be at work tomorrow…
She trudged to the elevator… she had talked to Ritu while walking the market
Rang the bell… Pradyun opened it with unconcealed joy….
“TUM” she said aloud… jumping out of her morose, depressed mode…
“Ha Mein” he said in broken Hindi…
She giggled…
He took he bags…. Hr husband neve did that…
He never did any of the stereo typical symbolisms that women craved for… yet she craved for him………..
Chachi was beaming with pride… Ujju jumped up and hugged her…
“Where is your girlfriend?” Khanak asked…
“We broke up” he said…
Khanak looked shocked…
“Khotha hai yeh” “Ladki change si” Dadi defended some unknown entity
Chachi agreed…
“She invited me over to her parents for some festival, and the house was like a mausoleum” he sniggered…
Chachi sucked her breath in, in horror
Dadi smacked him…
“I didn’t move from the couch, they wouldn’t let me touch anything” “I told her, this house is a shrine for dead people”
Khanak’s jaw dropped… her heart raced… as she thought “Gujral men love clutter… no wonder” HER Gujral man would say something similar she knew…
“You broke up over that?” she asked…
“SHE  broke up over that” Prad affirmed gleefully…
Dadi steered them toward the couch… HL took her bags… the other help brought chai and snacks… Khanak leaned back on the sofa shut her eyes, and inhaled the familiar smell… of wealth and affluent fragrances of fresh flowers… and real scents… the sound proof house…
“Thak gayi” Dadi worried…
“If she got pregnant she would need to quit” “This job is too demanding,” Chachi supplied ammunition to Dadi…
“So what plans for the weekend Kanak?” Prad asked using her name…
“Wait for Monday” her husband supplied… with mirth(Monday Chachi, Ujju were returning and so Prad was too)… walking towards the couch area… seeing his wife and his cousin sitting side by side… as his wife stiffened involuntairily

    Loved it so much!!! ♥♥♥ Pradyun is back..Eeeks..:D That is enough to bring Shaan back to Khanak..;)

    Awww..Khanak is frustrated as Shaan is not talking with her..She is spending time in shopping and visiting..:)

    Pradyun brought back smile on Khanak..:) She looks so excited!!! :) She craves for symbolism but Shaan would never to such typical things..

    Pradyun broke up with hi GF..Lol..:D They didn't let him touch anything..And the girl broke up coz he said that..Lol..:D

    Of course..If Khanak gets pregnant Shaan would demand her to take off from work
    but she wouldn't as she has so many loans..:(

    Awww..Pradyun going away on Monday..Shaan is so happy for that!!! :)

    she has to go work on Saturday shaan wouldnt be happy only if they were talking :((

    Good! Prad is making a start somewhere but it still seems he’ll never get over Khanak

    I think I’ll be the only one pleased seeing Prad just for sake of he’ll make Shantanu jealous

    Its mean, but I think Khanak will use this opportunity to make him burn and hopefully both can fight and TALK!

    Pradyun is one of my favourite characters in CASA!! Aditee......iss weekend ka full details chahiye.........let Shaan be jealous and possessive so that the couple atleast fights!!
