"WHAT are you planning?" asked Dadi, sitting down, steering her towards a spot by her seat....
The waiter appeared...
She asked for chai...
"He doesnt want kids Dadi" she told softly
"Mujhe kuch nayi gal das puttar" she said in frustrated Punjabi "Well God thought differently didnt he?" she smiled smugly.
Khanak looked down...
"HOW did it happen?" Dadi thought aloud...
Khanak squirmed....
She didnt know how to tell Dadi... that her grandson and her were intimate multiple times a day some days... atleast once every day/night...........
"I know he loses his head when he doesnt see you at home" Dadi offered proudly...
"Dadi he hates babies"
"NOT HIS OWN?"
"He has some convoluted logic..." Khanak began her story...
"Kya?"
"He doesnt want to share" Khanak completed in her usual short sweet style
"Share what?" "the baby?" "So he can go live with you in Bandra or Juhu" Dadi offered a solution proudly...
"Share...ummm....me" Khanak swallowed the "me"
Dadi did not say a word....
She smiled though... Khanak's head was bent....
Dadi was grinning....
"He is a fool" she concluded...
"WHY does it feel like sharing?" she looked confused...
"Matlab" Khanak began and stopped...
"Ummm" ..."Dadi... he just wants to " Khanak didnt say anymore...
He chased u and bothered u until you agreed" Dadi reminded her... "You married him, tujhe ghar jaane nahi deta... arey Chembur bhi nahi" she shook her head...
"He doesnt want babies.." Khanak reminded Dadi just as Dadi was reminding her of her husband's passionate persuasive style...
" So u want to run away?" Dadi looked at her deeply...
"I" the girl began...
"You are reckless and courageous" Dadi muttered... shaking her head
Khanak's belly rumbled kicking up more bile... as she stood up...
Dadi stared at the sprinting girl with worry as her mind worked furiously...
Loved it!!! ♥ Dadi couldn't understand why Shaan don't want a kid..God..He is so possessive and wont share Khanak..

dadi is probably join n to make him realise he cannot live without her....a lesson maybe..........his illogical reason makes up for her running away.......loved her hesitance in showing what a intense person her husband is........thanks :-)

when he will hear this good news his heart will melt i mean cmon yaar papa banne ki khabar kisko achhi nahi lagegi guy like Shan can also melt yaar but pehle ye good news use pata toh chale :(
but if she is going to disappear then it will be more exciting to see like this ke dadi on khanak's side apne grandson ko sabak sikhane ke liye khanak ke disappear ka plan banaye and hide her somewhere for few days
bcoz we all want to see shan taking care of khanak be with her woh bhi is waqt haye would love to see him like a typical caring and possessive hubby when his wife is pregnant eeksks :)

Iam in love with Shaan's reason for not having babies........and iam sure that he will be a wonderful father too!! even if Khanak disappears, hopefully its temporary......Shaan toh paagal ho jayega...........and dadi is just superb......loved this conversation.......it was too good!!

Loving it! Who IMAGINED she will strive the marriage, hold on to the guy and have his baby! She was so prejudice about him and now....Life is full of unpredictable adventures!
