You do realize its next to impossible to trick your husband? Dadi asked baffled...
"Dadi... par unko" she began...
"He obsesses over you and everything about you"she supplied....
Khanak squirmed...
"He ASKED to be loaned out to DLF in Delhi when you left him...." Dadi said worried....
"He doesnt want kids" she argued...
"He was saying that because you were not pregnant" Dadi responded
"He doesnt like Amogh" Khanak countered...
"But have you seen the way he cares for him?" Dadi wondered...
"Maine unko yahi baat poochi" "He said its a responsibility that he doesnt care to take on, its OK on occasion"
Dadi appeared frantic...
"We have to go home today" she offered...
"But Dadi I am not doing this to defy him" Khanak said sombrely
Dadi looked at her... the girl had no hopes, no aspirations... she just trundled along... when she invited Nivedita and the team for lunch to thank them for visiting Shaan during his fractured arm...
"Mera koi nahi hai Mumbai mein" she had said...
NOW....
She was running away from the man that enveloped, and constituted her world.... running away with something..........
Khanak wondered the same strangely....
The last thing she would have ever thought about was hiding Shantanu Gujral's baby... when she had bumped into him at the elevator she would have laughed unil her insides hurt... if someone were to have told her "U will be married to him someday and would run away when u are pregnant with his child"
I mean going to BED WITH SHANTANU GUJRAL.... BEING HIS WIFE? HAVING HIS CHILD?
She would have dismissed the person suggesting the person was high on some banned substance.
"Pradeep is picking up Bhabhi and the tyke she texted me" her screen glowed
Kaun hai" Dadi asked...
"Shaan" she said softly...
"Pradeep ko bhej diya maine"
"Main baat karoon?"
NAHIIII" Khanak jumped... "He will want to know WHY u are here with me at 3 in the afternoon
She sipped some water... made a face
"Did she give you something for nausea?"
"Nahi" Khanak answered in distress
Dadi sighed... wondered, worried... her brain stopped working...
Khanak was dreaming about the man...
"You PROMISED" she had texted him one afternoon upon receiving a HUGE bouqet of flowers at work and a box of Belgian chocolates...
"I did" he had responded
They had argued the night before in bed......for an hour almost... she had wrangled a promise out of him that they wouldnt gift each other anymore... "I cant keep up" she had wailed....
His gifts were expensive and BIG
She was running out of ideas and money
The next day he sent her flowers and chocolate in defiance
Loved it!!! ♥ Shaan will find out easily that Khanak is carrying if he is with her..Dadi is right..Once he knows she is pregnant he'll adore her..Its not like he will disown her or take extreme steps..

Loved how Dadi and Khanak thinking about past and loved how Khanak thought about their first meet
Arnav sent her flowers and chocolates even when she refused and now she can give best gift, their child and wanted to see Shantanu's emotions knowing Khanak is pregnant.

I want to them to make love, fight, seperate, seek each other......see and feel all emotions....for years and years to come.
