Part 122
The girls stood in the kitchen quietly helping the maid
start lunch preparations. Pradyun and Kritik had taken the car to the service
center for an oil change…
K:I have asked him in every which way (pleading)
Ritu begins speaking in Hindi, quickly checks herself after
Khanak signals about the maid…
R:You are still so young sweetie… ek do saal aur… u know…
its not like you are 45…
K: I will still be waiting then (bitter)
R:Hey! Atleast you will be still married to the guy
(giggles)
“Riiight” (disbelief)
“Don’t be childish Khanak”
“I am not”
“I haven’t seen this side of you ever! You were always
mature and a seasoned life expert” Ritu commented somberly
“That’s just wool I pulled over you guys’ eyes” smiling
without being amused
“Now I see this impatient, demanding, adamant teenager” Ritu
guffawed
“Is that what it seems like? Khanak argued frustrated….
”Main kapde dho loon? The maid asked..
R:Haan theek, mera yellow salwar alag se bhigoya maine,
please usko masheen mein mat dalna
The maid nods and smiles
K:Gosh! She is like me, she responds with a nod where she
should typically speak
R:Hide the condom Mystery!
Khanak looks at her startled “Funny” shaking her head
R:Main tujhe bata rahi hoon… the guy cant keep his hands to
himself when you are in bed.. so just do it
Khanak smiles… a warm glow envelops her…….
“Tell him honestly about when you see yourselves being
parents”
“He KNOWS, he is a dog!” furious
“Yikes! Temper?”
“He knows… he yanks my chain constantly”
“This is EXACTLY the kinda a guy you need, nahi to you will
slip into slumber… like Rip Van Winkle”
Ritu starts making more chai
“I going to go take a shower” says Khanak… washing her hands
after chopping onions…
“You need to relax my friend” Ritu said calmly
“I am relaxed today” Khanak lied
“As if you didn’t have enough to worry about with your
family stuff… ab yeh Casa… phir bacha”
“That’s just my life” annoyed
“Please Mystery”
“Chal shopping chalet hain”
“Pehle who log aa jaaye, lunch ho jaaye phir, tu naha, Aada
ka call return kar le”
“Hmmm”
“Shaan se baat ki?”
“Nahi” firm
“You don’t even have to think about that one do you?”
“Nope!” Khanak smiled gloriously
While Ritu made plans secretly to bring him to Delhi…

i want khanak to first handle her insane family except her bai and aada which she care so much then she has casa and now new project she should seriously think about it calmly and then decide itna zidd achha nahi
